At Apex West Performing Arts, we believe every dedicated dancer Ages 8+ should have the opportunity to participate in dance competitions.  Competitions offer dancers an environment where they can set personal and team goals, measure their achievements and be provided feedback by qualified judges.  Dance competitions are an excellent place for dancers to develop their confidence, skills and expand their creativity while being inspired by other dancers. 

Our competition team will participate in x2 local (vancouver island) competitions and one competition in the lower mainland with additional opportunities throughout the season. Competition team members will also be provided the option of attending dance conventions where they can train with the industry’s best.

choreography for competition team routines occur outside of the regular weekly classes on fridays. *Exception: choreography for hip hop crews is scheduled on mondays. additional studio fees apply in relation to choreography, costumes, team jacket and competition fees.
